Christ Church’s Beloved Grandma
“Well done, good and faithful servant.”

With both tears and grateful joy, we announce that our dear Kathi Farrell went home to be with her Savior, Jesus Christ, on November 9, 2025.

Kathi was everyone’s Grandma. The moment she walked into a room, her smile, her hugs, and her unmistakable vibrant energy filled the space with love. For decades, she served as a compassionate nurse, bringing healing and comfort to countless patients with the same tender care she later poured into her church family. One of the very first members of Christ Church, Kathi became its heart and its grandmother to generations of children, youth, and adults alike. She gladly “adopted” pastors, staff, and congregants into her ever-growing family, leaving a Kathi-shaped hole in more hearts than we can count.

Kathi lived what she believed. Everyone who met her knew without a doubt that she loved and deeply knew Jesus. She radiated His grace, mercy, and joy until her very last breath. Now that same Jesus whom she loved has welcomed her home, and we rejoice even as we grieve, confident that we will see our Grandma again.

Kathi is preceded in death by her parents and other loved ones already waiting for her in glory. She is survived by her eldest adopted son, three devoted sisters, seven precious grandchildren who called her “Grandma” with all their hearts, and an enormous extended family at Christ Church and beyond who will miss her terribly yet celebrate her victory.

A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, December 3, 2025, at 4:30 p.m. at

Christ Church - 3959 W. Belleview Ave. Littleton, Colorado 80110

Dinner and fellowship at The Outpost to follow.

A Celebration of Kathi’s life will take place immediately following the service at our home, with dinner and fellowship provided.

We love you. We’ll see you soon. Rejoice and rest in peace, sweet Kathi.
